Sized for your roof

Every quote includes a generation estimate for your roof's pitch, orientation and shading, so you see what the system should save before you commit.

Surveys are free, and the price is fixed after the survey. All electrical work is carried out and certified by the NICEIC-approved electrical contractors we work with.

How it works

How we size your system

Before we visit, we model your roof from satellite imagery and irradiance data for your location. The model covers pitch, orientation and shading from nearby trees and buildings, and we check it at the site survey.

The generation figure on your quote is for your roof and your electricity use, not a UK-wide average.

B9 Renewables is part of the B9 Energy group, from the same Larne base. Photos on this site include B9 group installs on commercial roofs.

Common questions

Do you charge for surveys or quotes?

No. Surveys and quotes are free and carry no obligation. We would rather tell you at survey stage that your roof is not suitable than sell you a system that will disappoint.

How long does the whole process take?

Typically four to six weeks from survey to switch-on for a standard home install notified under G98. Systems needing a G99 application to NIE Networks take longer because approval must be granted before connection. NIE Networks aims to issue a connection offer within three months, and works can follow after that.

Where in Northern Ireland do you work?

All six counties. We are based in Larne and cover Belfast, Lisburn, Bangor, Newtownabbey, Carrickfergus, Ballymena, Antrim, Derry~Londonderry, Coleraine, Newry, Craigavon, Omagh, Enniskillen and everywhere in between.

What warranties do I get?

Panels carry a 25-year performance warranty, inverters 10–12 years, and batteries 10 years or a stated cycle count. We register the manufacturer warranties for you and hand over all documentation at commissioning.
